About the Team
It's fun to work in a company where people truly believe in what they're doing. At Workday, we're committed to bringing passion for data and a focus on actionable insights to the Marketing organization. Our Content Marketing Analytics team plays a key role in helping the broader Marketing team understand what's working, where to invest, and how to continuously improve the content experiences we create for our audiences.
We help shape content strategy through data-turning complex performance metrics into clear, meaningful recommendations that guide how we plan, create, and distribute content. Whether it's identifying what resonates with our audiences, tracking performance against goals, or uncovering new opportunities through digital analytics, our work directly influences how Workday shows up in the market.
We work hard, and we're serious about what we do. But we like to have a good time, too. In fact, we run our company with that principle in mind every day: one of our core values is fun.

About the Role

As a Digital Content Data Analyst, you will be a key member of the Content Marketing Analytics team, responsible for owning and managing the end-to-end analytics process for content marketing. You will use tools like Adobe Analytics, Snowflake, Sigma, ContentSquare, BrandWatch, and Google Search Console to track, analyze, and report on digital content performance across channels. Your insights will help the team make informed decisions to optimize campaigns, improve customer experiences, and contribute to business growth.

In this role, you will be responsible for:
  • Determining strategic goals and direction for Content Marketing using data and analysis
  • Owning and managing the end-to-end analytics process for Content Marketing, including data collection, reporting, and insight generation across platforms such as Adobe Analytics, Sigma, ContentSquare, BrandWatch, and Google Search Console
  • Delivering quarterly analytics reviews that include blog performance, goal tracking, and strategic recommendations for upcoming quarters and annual planning
  • Representing Content Marketing in cross-functional discussions related to a Corporate Communications analytics framework
  • Collaborating with the broader Marketing Insights Systems Orchestration team on cross-functional projects and data initiatives
  • Transforming raw data into clear, compelling narratives that inform content strategy and help partners across Marketing understand performance trends

  • Proficient in data operations, with an understanding of the collection, processing, storage, and distribution of data, including experience improving data quality and implementing effective data governance practices
  • Knowledgeable in business analysis, with the ability to evaluate organizational operations, interpret data to identify areas for improvement, and provide recommendations that support strategic planning and decision-making
  • Experienced in data transformation, with the ability to convert data from one format or structure into another, clean and standardize data for analysis, and design effective transformation workflows

Our Approach to Flexible Work

With Flex Work, we're combining the best of both worlds: in-person time and remote. Our approach enables our teams to deepen connections, maintain a strong community, and do their best work. We know that flexibility can take shape in many ways, so rather than a number of required days in-office each week, we simply spend at least half (50%) of our time each quarter in the office or in the field with our customers, prospects, and partners (depending on role). This means you'll have the freedom to create a flexible schedule that caters to your business, team, and personal needs, while being intentional to make the most of time spent together. Those in our remote "home office" roles also have the opportunity to come together in our offices for important moments that matter.
