Data Analyst
Lead I - Data Engineering
UST is seeking a product-oriented Data Analyst to design, analyze, and operationalize data objects, data quality rules, and analytics frameworks that drive pricing, search, and operational performance at scale.
The opportunity:
• Analyze, document, and design data objects, dimensional models, and data quality rules for analytics and reporting use cases.
• Build resilient, scalable, and sustainable data object designs and data quality validation frameworks.
• Define, implement, and maintain data quality tests to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of metrics.
• Ensure governance, compliance, documentation, and explainability across all data assets and analyses
• Monitor and analyze key KPIs across business including established SLAs
• Run Pricing and Search frameworks

What you need:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related technical field
• 3+ years of experience in data design, dimensional modeling, and analytics
• Proven ability to work effectively both independently and in cross functional teams.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong customer focus with a high bar for quality and accuracy.
• Ability to thrive in a fast paced, agile development environment.
• Mandatory skills: Data design, dimensional modeling, Reporting, JIRA, Confluence
• Good to have : Power BI, Teradata, HiveQL, Hadoop HDFS
Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.
Role Location: Remote-US
Compensation Range: $70,000-$105,000

Full-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. Full-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year) and are eligible to participate in the Company's 401(k) program with employer matching. Part-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year).
All US employees who work in a state or locality with more generous paid sick leave benefits than specified here will receive the benefit of those sick leave laws.
