Full Job Description
As a senior or lead data analyst on the Claims Control File Owner team, you'll transform new claims data into insights that help improve policy coverage review, streamline claim handling, and support more informed decisions by claims teams. In this role, you'll drive strategic decisions for high-impact initiatives that bring in new data, unlock new analytics, and change how coverage is handled. You'll be at the forefront of this work, partnering early in the process to define success measures and identify data needs. You'll create complex queries across multiple data sources and platforms, develop tests and analytical models, and help business partners understand the impact of process changes. You'll present insights and recommendations to business leaders across Claims Control and Process, and at times even to senior controller leadership. You may also have the opportunity to mentor other analysts, further building your leadership skills to help grow the team's capability.

Must-have qualifications
  • A minimum of six years of analytical work experience.
  • {OR} Bachelor's degree or higher and a minimum of five years of analytical work experience.
  • {OR} Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative field of study and a minimum of three years analytical work experience.

Preferred skills
  • Highly proficient in programming skills (e.g., R, SAS, or SQL).
  • Proven ability to learn and use data analysis reporting tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking skills with the ability to draw conclusions and recommend solutions, while being able to explain complex analytical concepts to a non-technical audience.
  • Ability to quickly learn and navigate multiple data sources while working collaboratively in a team-oriented environment, as well as independently with a high degree of autonomy to drive projects forward.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills with a strong focus on customer service, with proven negotiation skills and the ability to influence others through education and information sharing.

Compensation
  • $81,400 - $131,200/year depending on position level and experience
  • Gainshare annual cash incentive payment up to 30% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
