Reporting directly to the Sales and Demand Insights Data Product Manager, the Data Analyst (L2) is responsible for managing, analyzing, and transforming commercial data into AI-ready, trusted assets that power business decisions across US Brands.
This role sits at the intersection of data engineering, analytics, and AI enablement. The ideal candidate brings a strong command of data management and analytics, hands-on AI fluency, and a commitment to Sanofi's AI-Ready Data principles: Understood, Trusted, Safe, and Shared.
Main Responsibilities:AI-ENABLED ANALYTICS AND INSIGHT GENERATION- Leverage AI and machine learning tools and techniques, including generative AI and statistical models, to identify patterns, trends, and high-leverage insights from large commercial datasets
- Develop and maintain AI-ready datasets, ensuring data is structured, governed, and fit-for-purpose for use in AI and ML solutions across US Brands
- Apply Sanofi's Responsible AI (RAISE) framework principles when building or consuming AI-powered analytics, ensuring transparency, fairness, and ethical use
- Explore opportunities to integrate AI and ML capabilities such as predictive demand modeling, sales forecasting, and segmentation into the Sales and Demand Insights product
DATA ANALYSIS AND BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights that drive commercial decisions
- Leverage data and facts to challenge conventional wisdom, form evidence-based conclusions, and identify high-leverage intervention points
- Identify and analyze business needs that support the product strategy, harmonizing across business areas for a unified commercial data foundation for all US Brands
- Communicate solution trade-offs clearly to frame and influence project decisions
DATA ENGINEERING AND AI-READY DATA DEVELOPMENT- Design and define ingestion processes to ensure efficient data flow and integration aligned with Sanofi's Data Mesh architecture
- Build and maintain data pipelines that meet Sanofi's AI-Ready Data standards: quality-scored, classified, governed, and discoverable in the Data Marketplace
- Develop detailed functional specifications and test cases based on business requirements
- Apply strong understanding of data warehousing concepts including design patterns and ETL and ELT load strategies
DATA QUALITY AND GOVERNANCE- Implement and monitor Data Quality rules in line with Sanofi's AI-Ready Data standards covering accuracy, completeness, consistency, and timeliness
- Ensure datasets are scored via Informatica CDGC and remediated when below defined quality thresholds
- Support data classification, access policy definition, and privacy-by-design principles in compliance with Data Privacy, GxP, SOX, and cybersecurity requirements
- Collaborate with Business Data Stewards and Digital roles to maintain shared data ownership and accountability
INNOVATION AND CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT- Proactively monitor industry, functional, and technology trends, particularly in AI and ML, generative AI, and commercial analytics
- Identify new opportunities to leverage data and integrate internal and external sources to enhance business value
- Aggregate and evaluate digital data sources including web, email, social media, and CRM to enrich commercial insights
About YouRequired Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in data analysis, data manipulation, and data management
- Expert proficiency in SQL and data querying
- Proficiency in Python for data analysis and AI and ML workflows
- Hands-on experience building or consuming AI-ready datasets and working with AI and ML platforms
- Familiarity with Responsible AI principles and ethical data use including bias, fairness, and transparency
- Experience with data warehousing, Snowflake, ETL and ELT pipelines, and cloud platforms
- Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-moving, agile environment
Preferred Qualifications:- Experience in commercial pharmaceuticals, biotech, or healthcare
- Familiarity with Sanofi's AI Foundry, Data Mesh, or Informatica CDGC
- Knowledge of generative AI tools and large language model-based analytics applications
- Experience with digital data sources including web analytics, CRM, email, social media, and TV
- Knowledge of Six Sigma and Agile practices

100,500.00 - 150,500.00 (Includes target bonus)
