SCHEDULE: Full Time; Monday- Friday 8am-5pm

LOCATION: West Sacramento, Fairfield or Napa, CA

PAY RANGE: $41.08 to $50.20 hourly

JOB SUMMARY/OVERVIEW: Under the supervision of the Data Analytics & Programmer Manager, the Data Analyst collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to support the organization's data needs by developing ad-hoc and recurring reports.

MINIMUM POSITION REQUIREMENTS: EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS/TRAINING

  1. Education:


Preferred bachelor's degree in health-related informatics, computer science, statistics, data analytics/data science, engineering, public health, or other related fields

  1. Experience/Lived Experience:


  • A minimum of one year of experience working as a data analyst, developer, or equivalent is strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of one year of directly related experience in healthcare - health information technology, quality improvement, data analytics/data science, or information management strongly preferred.


  1. Special Skills/Training:


  • Intermediate to advanced SQL comprehension and querying required.
  • Intermediate to advanced competency in Excel (Functions, Vlookups, Pivot Tables, etc.) required.
  • Familiarity with Relational Database Management Systems (MSSQL and PostgreSQL) preferred.
  • Familiarity with data analytical platforms (Relevant, PowerBI, Tableau, etc..) preferred.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1.

Collaborate with the Data Department and stakeholders to confirm data requests by reviewing objectives, input/output requirements, and timeframes that support clinical care teams, quality improvement, and the organization's reporting needs.

2.

Conduct ongoing data collection by analyzing health information from various sources, including Epic, BridgeIT, Relevant, and Excel, for quality improvement, internal operations, UDS, and other reporting requirements.

3.

Data reporting development: Write, validate, and document extensive SQL code to create data reports and dashboards for end-user use and functionality.

4.

Performs other duties as assigned.
