Job description

Infosys is seeking a Data Analyst. This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design; play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts; deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. Basic Qualifications:

• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Mississauga, Ontario or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel.
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 2 years of Information Technology experience.
• Candidates authorized to work for any employer in Canada without employer-based visa sponsorship are welcome to apply. Infosys is unable to provide immigration sponsorship for this role at this time.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in Data Analysis with Financial risk domain.
• Strong data mapping and data analysis skills
• Experience with data visualization tools and dashboards
• Ability to query data independently
• Gather business requirements by effectively coordinating activities between business users, developers and managers.
• Develop use cases, functional specifications, and test cases.
• Ensure test coverage and complete documentation for each software release.
• Atleast 2 years of experience, either in management consulting or directly at Banks, other Financial Services firms, and FinTechs, in a problem solving/ solution development role in the Banking, Risk and Finance domains.
• Hands-on experience working on banking products data.
• Can be able to define data lineage from source systems to downstream system, Data profiling of the data sets
• Review and finalize DQ rules, assist in implementation of DQ rules with application teams and validation of results.
• Review of new Data demands from downstream.
• Experience with database, SQL querying and analysis, MongoDB, excel & PowerPoint.
• Hands-on experience in any tool for issue tracking and project management; preferably Jira.
• Strong Analytical and Communication skills along with Planning and Co-ordination skills
• Should have worked to gather detailed, specific, business requirements and functional specifications based on Architecture/Design /Detailing of Processes.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face to face. Extensive travel may be required as per client and project needs.

Estimated annual compensation range for the candidate based in the below location will be:
Ontario: $ 70954 to $ 105007
