OverviewA leading Microsoft-focused consulting organization is seeking a
Dynamics 365 Finance Solution Architect to support enterprise implementations and client engagements.
This role is highly client-facing and combines:
- Deep D365 Finance functional expertise
- Solution architecture and design
- Executive-level communication and pre-sales support
You will work directly with business stakeholders and internal delivery teams to design and deliver scalable finance solutions across complex environments.
Key Responsibilities - Lead delivery of end-to-end D365 Finance implementations and enhancements
- Own solution design across core finance modules (GL, AP, AR, Cash, Fixed Assets, Project Accounting)
- Conduct requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, and solution workshops with clients
- Provide architectural oversight across customizations, integrations, and third-party solutions (ISVs)
- Partner with technical teams to guide development and ensure alignment to business requirements
- Support data migration, testing, training, and go-live activities
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior business stakeholders, including finance leadership
- Participate in pre-sales activities, including solutioning, demos, and scoping
- Contribute to ongoing client expansion opportunities and solution optimization
Required Experience - 8+ years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance / F&SCM
- Strong expertise across core finance modules (GL, AP, AR, etc.)
- Experience leading implementations within a consulting or client-facing environment
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with executive stakeholders
- Experience with solution design, scoping, and architecture decisions
- Understanding of integrations, ISVs, and enterprise system landscapes
- Ability to manage multiple client engagements simultaneously
Preferred Experience - Exposure to third-party solutions such as tax engines, reporting tools, or document management ISVs
- Experience with Power Platform and/or Azure-based integrations
- Cross-functional exposure to Supply Chain or related modules
- Relevant D365 certifications

- Capable of designing scalable solutions while avoiding unnecessary customization
- Comfortable operating across delivery, architecture, and pre-sales activities
Work Environment - Remote (U.S.-based preferred; Central or Pacific time zones ideal)
- Up to ~25% travel depending on project needs
- Collaborative, consulting-driven environment with high client interaction
Compensation - Base salary: $130K - $165K (flexible based on experience)
- Additional performance-based bonus tied to utilization (uncapped)
