Job OverviewWe are seeking a
Cybersecurity Vulnerability Engineer to join our team. You will provide comprehensive security engineering and analytical support to resolve complex information assurance (IA) challenges across the full information system development lifecycle. Furthermore, you will systematically analyze security requirements, optimize project workflows, and integrate technological methodologies to ensure robust system planning, design, testing, and implementation. This position is in Columbus, OH.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:- Information Security Analysis & Assurance: Evaluates and defines stringent information security requirements while executing specialized project tasks to mitigate risks and resolve complex Information Assurance (IA) challenges.
- Full-Lifecycle Security Engineering: Delivers end-to-end security engineering support spanning the entire system lifecycle, including the meticulous planning, design, development, testing, demonstration, and seamless integration of secure information systems.
- Systems Integration & Methodology Application: Drives the integration of electronic processes and advanced technological methodologies to resolve holistic, total-system vulnerabilities and specific technical problems related to IA compliance.
- Workflow Optimization & Systematic Problem Solving: Applies rigorous analytical and systematic approaches to identify and resolve operational bottlenecks, thereby optimizing project workflows, organizational alignment, and strategic planning initiatives
Required Qualifications:- An ACAS Administrator certification
- Relevant certification meeting DOD 8570/8140 IAT level III
- Relevant certification meeting DOD 8570/8140 CND-IS
- A minimum of seven (7) years of relevant IT experience
- A minimum of four (4) years of experience maintaining Vulnerability scanning solutions in a DOD environment.
Clearance Requirements:- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Must possess a DoD current Secret clearance.
