Position Summary

ECS is seeking a Cybersecurity CORA/CHAT Technician - Senior to support the Army National Guard (ARNG) Enterprise Network Operations and Cybersecurity Support (ENOCS) program. In this role, the selected candidate supports Task 3 - Cybersecurity Operations Support by executing Cyber Operational Readiness Assessment (CORA) and Cyber Hygiene Assessment Team (CHAT) activities across ARNG enterprise environments. The Cybersecurity CORA/CHAT Technician - Senior performs vulnerability scans, configuration compliance checks, security control validation, evidence collection, findings documentation, remediation tracking, and follow-up validation to help deliver Task 3 cybersecurity compliance, continuous monitoring, and defensive cyberspace operations outcomes. This position works under senior direction and in coordination with broader cybersecurity operations, compliance, RMF, and assessment teams supporting the ENOCS cyber mission.

This role directly supports ARNG's mission to defend classified and unclassified network environments serving more than 120,000 users and approximately 141,000 endpoints across roughly 2,800 sites in 54 states and territories. The position contributes to cybersecurity readiness for Title 10 and Title 32 missions, mobilization readiness, domestic emergency response operations, and classified SIPRNet operations by helping validate secure baselines, document compliance posture, and support audit and inspection readiness. The technician operates within the ENOCS cybersecurity environment aligned to DCO-IDM activities and coordinates with enterprise processes that include eMASS updates and integration, vulnerability management, continuous compliance validation, and coordination across ARNG cyber operations supporting the DoDIN-A(NG) area of responsibility.

Please Note: This position is contingent upon contract award.

  • Document technical findings, compliance gaps, and remediation requirements clearly and accurately, and track associated corrective actions and POA&Ms through closure under senior direction.
  • Perform follow-up validation of remediated findings to confirm corrective actions were properly implemented and that systems meet required security and compliance expectations.
  • Support RMF-aligned assessment activities by helping maintain evidence packages, validating control implementation, and contributing to eMASS update and integration activities referenced in Task 3 cyber operations.
  • Assist continuous compliance validation efforts by reviewing applicable Federal, Service, and ARNG cybersecurity guidance and helping verify that supported configurations remain aligned with approved baselines.
  • Contribute to ARNG enterprise cybersecurity readiness across classified and unclassified environments supporting the DoDIN-Army-NG area of responsibility and DCO-IDM mission objectives.
  • Coordinate assessment support activities with broader ENOCS cybersecurity teams operating with the NETCOM Global Cyber Center and DISA DCDC to help sustain an effective enterprise cyber defense posture.
