Full Job Description
GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES: Responsible for advanced security monitoring, investigation, and incident response activities while supporting enterprise cybersecurity operations. This position independently analyzes complex threats, leads incident response efforts, recommends security improvements, and serves as a technical resource for junior analysts. This role helps drive operational excellence through process improvements, security tool optimization, and knowledge sharing across the cybersecurity function.

SUPERVISION RECEIVED: Reports to the Senior Manager - Cybersecurity Operations

SUPERVISION EXERCISED: N/A

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Create standard deployment methodologies for security infrastructure.

2. Maintains the Computer Security Incident Response Plan and coordinates the Computer Security Incident Response Team (CSIRT).

3. Supervise implementation of new systems/technologies as it pertains to security.

4. Support the Security & Systems teams through training and knowledge transfer and operate as Lead for Security Operations best practices.

5. Strong understanding of security concepts, threats, vulnerabilities, and attack techniques

6. Mentors junior analysts and shares knowledge.

7. Recommends improvements to security controls and monitoring.

8. Recognizes risks associated with shadow AI and unauthorized AI applications.

9. Leverage AI to increase efficiency, accelerate investigations, and improve overall security effectiveness.

10. Perform other duties as assigned or as necessary.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems, related field, or its equivalent experience, required.

2. Minimum of five years' experience required in IT services is desired along with a broad knowledge of technology products and services.

3. Work experience with AI, SIEM platforms, vulnerability risks, and mitigations, XDR/EDR, IDS, incident response, malware defenses.

4. Advanced knowledge of computer systems, products, services, and applications.

5. Security certification a plus.

6. Linux experience a plus.

Salary Range:
• $85,879.00/yr. - $101,034.00/yr., depends on experience

Bonus Potential:
• Eligible for 10% annual bonus potential, based on personal and company performance
