Cybersecurity Specialist to help secure enterprise systems, networks, and Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) that support critical business and government operations. Your Mission Includes:- Defending enterprise systems against emerging cyber threats.
- Strengthening security controls and reducing organizational risk.
- Supporting NIST SP 800-171 and CMMC Level 2 compliance efforts.
- Investigating security events and assisting with incident response activities.
- Improving security processes, technologies, and operational practices.

What We're Looking For:- 5+ years of cybersecurity, information security, or systems/network administration experience with a security focus.
- Experience administering security technologies such as endpoint protection, firewalls, VPNs, email security, or security monitoring tools.
- Understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, VLANs, routing, and segmentation.
- Experience with NIST SP 800-171, CMMC, or similar cybersecurity frameworks.
- Ability to investigate security events, analyze risks, and support remediation efforts.
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Security Requirements:- Must successfully pass all background screening requirements necessary to obtain and maintain access to Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI).
- Compliance with company security policies, customer requirements, and applicable federal regulations is a condition of employment.
Bonus If You Have These Skills:- Security+, CySA+, SSCP, CEH, Network+, or similar certifications.
- Experience with SentinelOne, Microsoft GCC, Entra ID, Meraki, or cloud security technologies.
- PowerShell, Python, or Bash scripting experience.
- Experience supporting government, defense contractor, or highly regulated environments.

Physical & Environmental Demands:- Work Environment: Work is primarily performed in an office setting with frequent use of computers, multiple monitors, and cybersecurity technologies. Occasional work in server rooms, equipment areas, or operational facilities may be required.

Must be able to type, navigate multiple applications, and perform detailed system administration tasks accurately.
- Cognitive and Analytical Demands: Requires sustained concentration, critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. The position involves analyzing complex technical information, assessing risks, investigating security events, prioritizing multiple issues, and developing appropriate corrective actions while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.

- On-Call and Incident Response: May be required to work outside normal business hours, participate in on-call rotations, and respond to cybersecurity incidents, system outages, security events, audits, or other business-critical situations.
- Security and Confidentiality Requirements: Requires access to sensitive company information, systems, and data, including Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI). Must maintain strict confidentiality and comply with all organizational security policies, access control requirements, and applicable regulatory obligations.
