LOCATION: Full-time onsite in Chantilly, VA
We're looking for a Cyber Security Project Manager with experience in cyber security engineering, InfoSec, or network engineering to lead enterprise security initiatives. In this role, you will coordinate cyber testing, analyze and document results, recommend mitigation strategies, and prepare accreditation materials that meet stringent assurance standards. You'll decompose functional requirements, identify system improvements, and produce detailed technical documentation that supports secure system design and certification.
Key ResponsibilitiesIn this challenging yet rewarding role, you are an integral part of what brings our Company's mission to life. You must have the following required skills, certifications and demonstrated experience in and/or with:
- Cyber security, InfoSec, cyber security engineering, or network engineering
- Vulnerability scanning tools.
- Analyzing and documenting test results
- Assessing systems against information assurance policies and regulations.
- Communicating complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Coordinating and performing cyber security testing
- Developing risk assessment and certification reports.
- Leading cyber security accreditation efforts for enterprise systems.
- Recommending mitigating countermeasures to identified threats, vulnerabilities, or shortfalls.
- Knowledgeable in Networking, Linux, Windows, Log analysis, Malware detection and mitigations, and the A&A process of systems.
- Writing and reviewing documents such as requirements specifications, system architecture, design documents, test plans, or cyber security plans.
- Decomposing functional requirements into technical requirements.
- Analyzing existing systems and identifying necessary corrective actions and improvements
- Preparing program documentation such as CONOPS (Concept of Operations), SSP (System Security Plans), and preparing materials to support system accreditation.
Highly Desired QualificationsOther skills and demonstrated experiences with or in the following are highly desired but not mandatory to perform the work include:
- Creating and maintaining integrated master schedules.
- Working with offensive cyber security practices.
- Explaining protocols, technical procedures and processes clearly and accurately to both technical and non-technical audiences.
