Qualifications

• Educational background in IT security with 2+ years of IT security operations/analyst experience
• Experience identifying and recommending security solutions for technical and non-technical clients
• Technical expertise in network devices and security products, particularly in perimeter technologies
• Operational experience with firewalls, vulnerability scanners, intrusion detection/prevention systems, endpoint protection, and SIEM log management systems
• Demonstrated enthusiasm about cybersecurity, shown through collaboration or contributions in the InfoSec community
• Experience in a presales role is a plus

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients and team members as a security consultant
• Troubleshoot data collection and alerting issues within SIEM systems
• Investigate delivery issues and service interruptions
• Ensure accurate and complete information is communicated to clients
• Prepare and review reports focused on ongoing security improvements
• Maintain open communications with clients for deployments and vulnerability management
• Enhance service deliverables and meet client deadlines using SOCVue
• Identify and recommend process enhancements to product and service teams
• Educate stakeholders on security best practices
• Lead technical aspects during sales demonstrations and POCs
