Full Job Description
Cyber Machine Learning Engineer The Opportunity: Designs, develops, and operationalizes AI/ML solutions that enhance cybersecurity capabilities. Works with cross-functional teams of AI Engineers, Software Engineers, and Cyber Operators to design, develop, and operationalize AI enabled solutions that enhance cyber defense, automation, and decision support. Applies cybersecurity expertise to identify opportunities for AI/ML. Apply advanced technical expertise to solve complex problems while contributing to the architecture and deployment of production grade AI systems. Work independently with minimal supervision and mentor junior team members as needed. You Have: • 2+ years of experience with cyber threat hunting and analysis of compromises within security logs, including endpoint and network data • 2+ years of experience exploring datasets, training machine learning models to perform inference, and utilizing the output to further cyber investigations • Experience with MITRE ATT&CK framework, MISP threat sharing, or cyber intelligence platforms, including seQure • Experience packaging and deploying production-level models using Python, Bash, Docker, or Kubernetes • Experience with data warehousing, ETL, or data streaming technologies, including Kafka • Experience with SIEM technologies such as Splunk or ElasticSearch • Experience with developing novel solutions for challenging problems • Experience working in a fast paced team rapidly prototyping and iterating • Ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance • HS diploma or GED Nice If You Have: • Experience working with large language models (LLMs), natural language processing (NLP), and data science workflows • Experience with data brokers, including Kafka, Confluent, Benthos, RedPanda, or RabbitMQ • Experience with cloud platforms, including Azure, AWS, or GovCloud, or distributed systems • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Compensation Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
