Job Summary

The Cyber Advisor Team Lead is responsible for leading a team of cyber technical advisors in planning and executing cyber assessment missions, supporting regional cyber strategies, and enhancing cybersecurity capabilities for partner organizations through advisory, training, and technical assistance efforts.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning and execution of follow-on cyber assessment missions for assigned sub-teams.
  • Coordinate and support cyber-defense and cybersecurity advisory activities based on prior mission findings and recommendations.
  • Provide subject matter expertise, over-the-shoulder advising, staff planning assistance, and technical training to partner organizations.
  • Develop country-specific Plans of Action (POA) and coordinate engagements to improve cybersecurity capabilities.
  • Translate written and virtual materials for partner stakeholders as needed.
  • Monitor and report progress toward defined goals and objectives.
  • Provide feedback, recommendations, and input into security cooperation planning and processes.
  • Conduct briefings (in-briefs and out-briefs) and prepare after-action and trip reports.

Job Requirements
Required Qualifications
  • Active Top Secret/SCI clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in cyber-defense and cybersecurity.
  • Extensive knowledge of Certification and Accreditation (C&A) and NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes.
  • Experience integrating analysis, technology, and interagency collaboration to improve processes.
  • Strong understanding of modern and emerging cybersecurity concepts in complex operational environments.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree.
  • Military experience.
  • Project management certifications such as CAPM or PMP.
  • Recent experience working in relevant operational regions.
  • Fluency in Spanish (written and spoken).
