What You Will Do:- Serve as Senior Subject Matter Expert (SME) supporting U.S. Navy PAE Maritime, Deputy PAE (CVN) across aircraft carrier acquisition, sustainment, and readiness portfolios
- Lead and manage multiple teams delivering management consulting services, including acquisition support, process improvement, and operational transformation for CVN programs
- Apply deep CVN domain expertise to align shipbuilding, lifecycle sustainment, maintenance (RCOH/availabilities), and fleet readiness priorities
- Execute business process improvement initiatives, including process mapping, gap analysis, KPIs, and performance metrics, to improve cost, schedule, and technical performance
- Advise on DoD/Navy acquisition lifecycle (DAS, PPBE) and governance processes; identify program risks and drive mitigation strategies
- Develop and deliver executive-level briefings to senior Navy leadership; communicate program performance, risks, and strategic recommendations
What You Will Need:- An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED SECRET Federal or DoD security clearance
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of SEVEN (7)+ years of experience in defense consulting, Navy acquisition, or operational support
- Direct experience with U.S. Navy aircraft carriers (CVN), including operations, maintenance, sustainment, or acquisition programs
- Strong knowledge of DoD acquisition frameworks and governance (DAS, JCIDS, PPBE)
- Proven experience leading teams, including management of managers and senior-level consultants/individual contributors
- Strong project management experience across complex, multi-stakeholder environments
- Experience developing KPIs, performance metrics, and executive reporting frameworks
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders and deliver concise, executive-level communications
What Would Be Nice To Have:- Master's degree
- Prior experience supporting PEO Carriers, NAVSEA, or Navy acquisition commands
- Operational CVN experience (shipboard operations, air wing integration, deployment cycles)
- Experience supporting shipbuilding, Refueling and Complex Overhaul (RCOH), or carrier modernization programs
- Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or higher)
- Experience with readiness reporting systems, sustainment analytics, or lifecycle management
- Familiarity with digital transformation, advanced analytics, or model-based systems engineering (MBSE)
- Experience contributing to federal proposals, capture efforts, or business development
The annual salary range for this position is $149,000.00-$248,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
