Overview

As a Customer Success Account Manager (CSAM), you will serve as the primary customer success leader responsible for helping strategic customers turn their Microsoft cloud and AI investments into measurable business outcomes. You will build trusted relationships, align customer priorities with Microsoft capabilities, and orchestrate people, programs, and resources across Microsoft and our partner ecosystem to strengthen customer health, accelerate adoption, and deliver sustained value. This opportunity will allow you to deepen your business and technical acumen, strengthen your delivery and program-management capabilities, and grow your ability to lead through influence across customer, partner, and Microsoft teams. This role offers flexibility to work from home up to 50% of the time.

As a CSAM, you will lead Customer Success Planning and connect customer goals to Microsoft capabilities, Success Programs, and Success Management Services. You will establish governance and delivery rhythms, proactively manage risks and adoption blockers, and drive coordinated execution that helps customers achieve durable outcomes and expand the value of their Microsoft investments.

Responsibilities
    • Build trusted-advisor relationships with customer stakeholders and Microsoft teams, aligning technology investments to strategic business priorities and measurable outcomes.

    • Lead stakeholder and priority alignment across customer organizations, establishing shared objectives, success measures, and governance approaches.

    • Own Customer Success Planning and execution, translating business priorities into coordinated programs of work that drive measurable customer value.

    • Orchestrate cross-functional execution across Microsoft, partners, and customer teams to strengthen customer health, accelerate cloud adoption, and advance AI transformation.

    • Leverage Success Management Services, Success Programs, and broader Microsoft resources to drive scaled execution and value realization.

    • Proactively identify and manage customer risks, adoption challenges, and delivery dependencies, guiding stakeholders toward timely resolution.

    • Serve as a customer advocate and customer success leader, using insights and feedback to improve execution and help customers realize durable business value from their Microsoft investments.


Qualifications

Required Qualifications (RQs)
  • Master's Degree in Business, Sociology, Psychology, Computer Science, or related field AND 3+ years customer success, solution delivery, practice management, customer-facing consulting, or portfolio management experience OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Sociology, Psychology, Computer Science or related field AND 4+ years customer success, solution delivery, practice management, customer-facing consulting, or portfolio management experience OR equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications (PQs)
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Sociology, Psychology, Computer Science or related field AND 8+ years customer success, solution delivery, practice management, customer-facing consulting, or portfolio management experience
    • OR Master's Degree in Business, Sociology, Psychology, Computer Science, or related field AND 6+ years customer success, solution delivery, practice management, customer-facing consulting, or portfolio management experience
    • OR equivalent experience
  • 3+ years relevant work experience within customer industry
  • Microsoft or competitor equivalent (e.g., AWS) certification in relevant technologies (e.g., Azure, 365)
  • Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Foundation certification or equivalent service management certification
    • Project Management Institute (PMI) or equivalent Project Management certification
    • Prosci or equivalent certification


Customer Success Account Mgmt IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across Canada is CAD $96,000 - CAD $177,600 per year.
