About this opportunity

Customer Unit AT&T leads the sales and delivery of Ericsson's network technologies and services for AT&T. We are looking for an experienced Customer Solution Responsible (CSR) to help shape and drive strategic Radio Access Network (RAN) software initiatives across AT&T and Ericsson. Based in Plano, Texas, this is a full-time role with limited travel (10%).

In this role, you will serve as a trusted technical partner to AT&T, connecting customer needs with Ericsson's technology strategy, product portfolio, software roadmap, and global delivery capabilities. You will engage with senior stakeholders - including CTO, engineering, and operations organizations - and collaborate with Ericsson business units, product teams, commercial teams, and ecosystem partners to translate complex requirements into actionable solutions.

What you will do
  • Serve on the AT&T Customer Unit CTO organization and CU Core 3 teams to define and advance RAN software requirements, solutions, and development priorities
  • Act as the primary CSR for AT&T RAN software initiatives spanning LTE, 5G, 6G, AI, automation, Cloud RAN, and related emerging technologies
  • Build trusted relationships with AT&T stakeholders across CTO, engineering, and operations organizations
  • Communicate Ericsson's technology strategy, vision, and differentiators to position the company as a preferred technology partner
  • Capture, qualify, prioritize, and manage customer requirements while maintaining alignment across Ericsson product lines and ecosystem partners
  • Ensure solution integrity, technical feasibility, execution readiness, and risk management across the customer engagement lifecycle
  • Support timely delivery of critical features by coordinating priorities and following the First Office Application (FOA) process
  • Develop and promote network evolution strategies across hardware and software, aligning Ericsson's capabilities with AT&T's service goals


The skills you bring
  • At least 10 years of experience in technology, solutions, or product management within telecommunications or ICT, with substantial experience in Ericsson networks and RAN software
  • Strong expertise in RAN and network architecture, solution management, and software-driven network evolution
  • Broad knowledge of the RAN and Networks portfolio, with depth in Radio, compute, RAN software, and Cloud RAN
  • Experience influencing product roadmaps, deployment strategies, standardization activities, and development priorities
  • Ability to engage Ericsson's global organization - including Business Areas, GFTL, Market Area domain teams, and engineering organizations - to support complex customer engagements
  • Strong consultative and strategic advisory skills, with the ability to identify customer needs and contribute to technology decisions
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage audiences from executive leaders to senior engineers
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, telecommunications, or a related field; master's degree or MBA preferred

Your Pay
The salary range for this position is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, and the candidate's combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.

Sales Incentive Plan: Your pay also includes the opportunity for sales incentives as a part of Ericsson's Sales Incentive Plan. Actual payouts are based on performance of the business against the unit's objectives, individual performance, and the individual incentive target. Certain eligibility and pro-ration rules apply.

Ericsson offers excellent health benefits including the choice of three medical plan options and a dental plan option that allow an employee to select the level of coverage that suits their needs. Employees will receive company credits in an amount equal to the cost that Ericsson pays toward the cost of their medical and dental premiums for themselves and eligible covered dependents.

Your Financial Security

We invest in both your short and long-term financial wellbeing. The Ericsson US 401(k) Plan offers an automatic 3% company contribution and Ericsson match $1 for every $1 you put into the 401(k) Plan on the first 3% of your eligible pay, plus 50 cents on every $1 on the next 2% of eligible pay. When you contribute at least 5% of eligible pay, you are receiving Ericsson's full matching contributions of 4%. Matching and company automatic contributions stop when your total eligible pay for the year reaches the IRS limits. Employees will also receive company credits in an amount equal to the cost of basic life insurance and basic accidental death and dismemberment coverage, as well as short-term and long-term disability coverage. Employees also have the option to participate in Ericsson's Stock Purchase Plan.

Your Time
Your work-life balance is important to us. New employees are provided a minimum of 15 days of accrued vacation, up to 3 personal days per year, 11 annual holidays, 8 hours of volunteer time, and 80 hours of sick time annually. Please note paid time off is pro-rated based on the employee's start date. Furthermore, Ericsson provides up to 16 weeks of paid maternity leave and 6 weeks of parental or adoption leave at 100% of pay.
