About the Role

The Strategic Customer Onboarding Project Coordinator supports the successful delivery of complex customer onboarding initiatives from kickoff through implementation. In this role, you will coordinate timelines, milestones, risks, and deliverables while partnering closely with Sales, Operations, Credit, Regulatory, Pricing, Finance, and other cross-functional teams.

This role is primarily focused on strategic and high-visibility customer implementations, while also providing flexible support across the broader onboarding organization as business needs evolve. The ideal candidate is highly organized, customer-focused, and comfortable coordinating multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do
  • Coordinate customer onboarding projects from kickoff through implementation, including project plans, timelines, milestones, risks, issues, and deliverables.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for assigned onboarding initiatives, helping ensure alignment across internal teams, stakeholders, and customers.
  • Support complex or high-visibility customer implementations by preparing status updates, tracking open items, escalating risks, and maintaining clear communication with stakeholders.
  • Partner cross-functionally with teams such as Sales, Operations, Credit, Regulatory, Pricing, and Finance to support onboarding readiness and execution.
  • Provide operational onboarding support as needed, including validating requirements, supporting account readiness, and helping ensure onboarding timelines and service expectations are met.
  • Analyze onboarding and project data to identify risks, track progress, and provide insights that support leadership updates and process improvement.
  • Identify opportunities to improve onboarding processes, scalability, and the overall customer experience.
  • Other duties may be assigned as needed to meet company goals.
  • This role is designed to provide flexible support across the Customer Onboarding organization. While primarily aligned to Strategic Customer Onboarding initiatives, responsibilities may expand or shift to support broader onboarding operations and customer needs based on business priorities.


Minimum Requirement

Degree or equivalent with typically 2+ years of relevant experience.

Critical Skills/Experience
  • Strong project coordination skills, including the ability to manage timelines, follow up on action items, identify risks, and drive work forward.
  • Ability to work across multiple teams and functions to support onboarding readiness, issue resolution, and customer implementation needs.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to validate information, track dependencies, and maintain accurate project documentation.
  • Comfort working in a changing environment where priorities, processes, or customer needs may shift.
  • Ability to analyze project or onboarding data and summarize key insights, risks, and next steps for stakeholders or leadership.
  • 2+ years of experience in project coordination, customer onboarding, sales support, customer service, operations, or a related business support function.
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional workstreams, tracking deliverables, and managing competing priorities.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office tools, including Excel and PowerPoint, to track information, analyze data, and prepare stakeholder-ready updates.
  • Experience communicating with internal stakeholders, customers, or business partners to resolve issues and support execution.


Preferred Skills/Experience
  • Experience supporting customer onboarding, implementation, account setup, or operational readiness in healthcare, distribution, sales, or a similar business environment.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Smartsheet, Salesforce, SAP, SharePoint, or similar project tracking/customer management systems.
  • Knowledge of group purchasing organizations, government, institutional, long-term care, or healthcare customer segments.


Travel

Position may require some overnight business trips during the year, with an anticipated travel requirement of up to 5-10%

This role is a hybrid position. The selected candidate is expected to work on-site at our Las Colinas office a minimum of two (2) days per week, with the remaining days worked remotely. Specific in-office days may be designated based on team needs and business priorities
