Job Description

Nokia of America Corporation, Customer Architect (Multiple Positions), Dallas, TX.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support for Nokia's proprietary Converged Charging (NCC) and Policy Controller (NPC) Product and its configuration management along with integration with other Nokia network elements like the Nokia 5G Core, Nokia IMS, and Nokia OSS.
  • Engage with customer to understand, analysis the requirements and provide technical guidance to formulate the NCC solution architecture.
  • Create high level design and detailed design as per customer requirements.
  • Implement customizations to Nokia Charging product including integrations with Nokia's Operations Support Systems (OSS) like NetAct, NMS, and OSS-R.
  • Design and implement how NCC interacts with these systems, including data exchange and workflow integration.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and lead technical discussions.
  • Provide measurable input into new products, processes, standards or operational plans in support of business strategies.
  • Analyze, develop and implement concepts and solutions as a subject matter expert. #LI-DNI


Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Systems, Engineering, Telecommunications, Information Systems or a related field, and 5 years of post-bachelor's progressive related work experience. Or a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Systems, Engineering, Telecommunications, Information Systems or a related field, and 3 years of related work experience.

Of the required experience, must have 3 years of experience with the following:
  • 4G/5G networks and protocols 3GPP standards;
  • Developing, testing, delivering high quality customizations and functional tests;
  • Deploying NCC and NPC in bare metal, VNF, or CNF customer;
  • Size and dimension solution based on architecture/ design.


Telecommuting from a location within commuting distance of Dallas, TX may be permitted up to 60%.
