Full Job Description
Job Summary

The Customer Account Manager at Triumph Geared Solutions - Macomb serves as the primary link between the customer and the Product Line Director to ensure communication of status and potential problem areas while advising on how to mitigate those concerns.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for aerospace customers (OEMs, airlines, MROs, defense agencies).
  • Build strong, long-term customer relationships and maintain high satisfaction levels.
  • Lead customer meetings, business reviews, and communication on program status.
  • Prepare and submit quotations, pricing updates, and proposals.
  • Manage negotiation of long-term agreements (LTAs) and service-level agreements (As).
  • Address quality issues, non-conformances, warranty claims, and technical concerns.
  • Provide timely updates and closure of customer issues.
  • Collect customer demand forecasts and translate them into internal planning forecasts
  • Identify risks, opportunities, and changes in customer demand.
  • Support annual revenue planning, budgeting, and sales targets.
  • Work cross functionally with product line IPT to ensure customer and business requirements are filled.
  • Maintain accurate CRM and ERP data for accounts, orders, and forecasts.
  • Prepare reports on OTD, revenue, customer scorecards, and account performance.
  • Provide executive-level summaries for leadership.
  • Create and maintain a Product Line Communication matrix
  • Represent the "voice of the customer" internally.
  • Work closely with supply chain, engineering, quality, finance, operations, and Product Line IPT
  • Participate in internal meetings to align priorities and resolve constraints.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 5+ years progressive experience in Program Management
  • 5+ years working in a customer-facing role with understanding of ERP transactional process in a production environment
  • Experience with preparing, submitting and pricing proposals as well as completing price packages submitted to customers
  • Experience in aerospace manufacturing environment a plus.
  • Background in estimating, costing and profit margins is highly preferable
  • Knowledge of MRP/ERP systems
  • Microsoft Office skills at an intermediate level


Physical Requirements

  • Ability to remain seated for long periods of time while working on a computer or documentation, etc.
  • Must have manual dexterity to operate computer keyboard and standard office equipment
  • Must be capable of withstanding long periods of viewing data on a computer screen and/or paper format
