Your RoleAs a member of the Business Operations team, the CTO Business Operations Manager plays a critical role in supporting the operational and financial effectiveness of Digital Realty's technology organizations, including IT, Product & Engineering, Information Security, the Chief Data Office (CDO), and AEG. This position partners closely with technology leaders to oversee budgeting, procurement, vendor management, financial reporting, and operational initiatives that support organizational goals. The successful candidate will drive accountability, improve business processes, provide valuable operational insights, and help ensure efficient execution across a fast-paced, global technology environment.
What You'll Do- Support budgeting and forecasting activities, including tracking actuals, variance analysis, and financial reporting across CTO organizations.
- Manage procurement processes, including purchase order creation, approvals, compliance, and documentation retention.
- Partner with Finance and Accounting teams to support accounts payable activities, accruals, receiving processes, and vendor payments.
- Track project financials, operational metrics, and progress in collaboration with project teams and PMO stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain executive-level reporting that delivers insights into performance, risks, trends, and opportunities.
- Build strong partnerships with technology leaders and business stakeholders to drive alignment and operational excellence.
- Manage vendor relationships and support engagement tracking, contract administration, and service delivery oversight.
- Lead and support operational initiatives and special projects that improve business performance.
- Identify and implement process improvements that increase efficiency, transparency, and scalability.
- Ensure compliance with financial controls, policies, procedures, and governance requirements.
What You'll Need- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related discipline.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting principles and financial management practices.
- Experience managing budgets, forecasts, financial reporting, and variance analysis.
- Knowledge of procurement workflows, purchase orders, receiving, accruals, and accounts payable processes.
- Experience working with ERP systems supporting procurement, AP, general ledger, and financial reporting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable recommendations.
- Demonstrated success managing vendors, business partners, and cross-functional stakeholder relationships.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and execute effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Experience driving process improvement, operational efficiency, and business optimization initiatives.
Compensation Range: $115,000 - $135,000 annually. This compensation range represents the Company's good faith belief as to what it will pay as a base salary for this position at the time of this posting.
