Position SummaryThe Credit Operations Analyst will be responsible for servicing and administrating the Bank's mortgage loan portfolios to ensure accuracy, compliance, and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in mortgage loan servicing and possess a strong understanding of loan servicing processes and regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Manage day-to-day servicing activities for mortgage loan portfolios.
- Perform payment processing, escrow analysis, and tax and insurance tracking.
- Handle customer inquiries related to loan servicing, payment status, and escrow accounts.
- Analyze and resolve loan servicing issues, including delinquencies, defaults, and modifications.
- Prepare and review loan payoff statements and ensure accurate payoff processing.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with federal, state, and investor guidelines.
- Assist in the preparation and delivery of periodic loan servicing reports.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve servicing discrepancies.
- Support audit and quality control processes related to loan servicing.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for all servicing activities.
- Board closed mortgage loans onto the Bank's core system, FIS Horizon XE.
- Identify and implement process improvements, automation opportunities, and system enhancements to increase operational efficiency and scalability.
Qualifications- 3-5 years of experience in mortgage loan servicing or related field.
- Strong knowledge of loan servicing systems, loan escrows and year end statements.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements such as RESPA, TILA, and CFPB guidelines.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong understanding of mortgage loan documentation.
- Familiarity with Horizon XE or Encompass is a plus
- Fluent in English (must)
- Advanced Portugues (preferred)
