Role OverviewThe Creator Manager oversees mid to macro/VIP influencer campaigns for Silver and Gold-tier clients, ensuring seamless delivery from discovery through to campaign completion. You'll lead on influencer selection, negotiations, quality control, and relationship management while providing guidance and mentorship to Senior Creator Executives.
This role requires exceptional organisational skills, strong relationship-building ability, and a deep understanding of the influencer landscape. You'll balance strategic oversight with hands-on delivery, ensuring campaigns meet the highest quality, timing, and budget standards.
Key Responsibilities- Identify, research, and engage mid to macro/VIP influencers who align with client goals.
- Oversee onboarding, contract negotiations, content reviews, and ASA compliance.
- Act as the primary contact for influencers, maintaining strong, ongoing communication.
- Lead quality control for influencer content and campaign creator lists.
- Monitor campaign performance, ensuring targets are met and delivery is on time.
- Lead mid-tier influencer negotiations and support SCEs on negotiation strategies.
- Manage campaign dashboards, ensuring accurate data and regular spot checks.
- Collaborate with strategy, data, and client service teams to optimise campaign success.
- Build strong relationships with talent managers to secure premium creators.
- Provide guidance on logistics and fulfilment, ensuring timely product send-outs.
- Share industry knowledge and trends with internal teams to improve performance.
Core CompetenciesInfluencer Discovery & OutreachQuality of influencer discovery and alignment to brand and strategy
Timeliness of discovery (i.e. consistently meeting or exceeding targets set)
Quality of outreach communications and strong influencer sign-ups for campaigns (i.e. ability to lock in creators reflected in client-approved sample list)
Quality Control & MonitoringReview influencer content and creator lists, ensuring it meets client standards for quality, accuracy, and campaign goals.
Provide guidance to team on how to achieve the best quality in each stage of the influencer cycle.
Monitor campaign targets and performance, ensuring influencer delivery is on time and within agreed parameters.
Negotiations & ContractingLead negotiations with mid-level influencers, ensuring cost-effective deals without compromising quality.
Provide guidance to Senior Creator Executives (SCE) on mid-tier negotiations, serving as a support and sounding board.
Campaign Management & ReportingManage campaign dashboards, ensuring accurate data entry for creators they manage, monitoring progress, and conducting spot checks for quality assurance (across all influencer data points).
Collaborate with internal teams (strategy, data, client services) to optimise influencer campaign strategies and troubleshoot any issues.
Talent Relationship BuildingBuild and maintain proactive relationships with talent managers to secure premium creators for campaigns.
Provide guidance to junior team members on relationship building best practices.
Industry Knowledge & Best PracticesStay updated on social media trends, platforms, influencer landscape, and ASA guidelines, ensuring Buttermilk's influencer strategies remain cutting-edge.
Share industry insights with internal teams to continuously improve campaign performance.

Required Experience & Skills- 3+ years in influencer marketing with proven project management skills.
- Agency background with experience managing influencer campaigns.
- Strong track record managing mid to macro/VIP creators and talent managers.
- Expertise in influencer marketing platforms, trends, and compliance.
- Experience managing VIP influencers and negotiating high-value contracts (preferred).
- Existing industry connections and experience with beauty brands such as L'Oreal (preferred).
