Full Job Description
The Social Creative Director will lead the creative vision for Spotify's global social presence, ensuring every piece of content is visually compelling, culturally relevant, and unmistakably Spotify. Working across Brand, Product, Music, Podcasts, Audiobooks, and Fitness, you'll help shape how millions of fans experience Spotify every day through innovative storytelling and world-class creative.

As a creative leader, you'll inspire and develop a high-performing team while partnering closely with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver work that pushes creative boundaries and strengthens Spotify's position as a leader in social storytelling.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the creative vision for Spotify's global social channels, delivering innovative, high-quality storytelling that strengthens the brand across Brand, Product, Music, Podcasts, Audiobooks, and Fitness.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (including Social Strategy, Brand, Project Management, and agency partners) to develop and deliver social-first campaigns from concept through execution.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of creatives, fostering a collaborative, inclusive environment and ensuring creative excellence across every project.
  • Champion consistency by maintaining Spotify's social brand guidelines, developing scalable creative toolkits, and partnering with regional teams to deliver a cohesive global social presence.
  • Stay ahead of emerging social trends, platform capabilities, and audience behaviors, while confidently presenting creative work and recommendations to senior leadership.

  • You have at least 10+ years of creative leadership experience in entertainment, technology, media, or consumer brands, with a strong portfolio of social-first work.
  • You have deep expertise in social platforms, content formats, and creative best practices, and know how to turn strategy into engaging, culturally relevant storytelling.
  • You are an experienced people leader who builds strong partnerships, communicates with influence, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • You care deeply about creative quality, bring a solutions-oriented mindset, and inspire teams to produce work that pushes creative boundaries while delivering meaningful business impact.


Where You'll Be

  • This role can be based in New York or Los Angeles.
  • We offer you the flexibility to work where you work best! There will be some in person meetings, but still allows for flexibility to work from home.
  • We ask that you come in 1-2 times per week.


The United States base range for this position is $162,432- $232,047, plus equity (plus bonus or commission. The benefits available for this position include health insurance, six month paid parental leave, 401(k) retirement plan, 23 paid days off, 13 paid flexible holidays.
