Job DescriptionWe are seeking a strategic, collaborative Product Manager to help shape and advance Elan's commercial payments portfolio. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong product management and a forward-looking strategic mindset. The Product Manager will lead roadmap development, partner across teams, and help modernize the way Elan delivers value to bank partners and their customers.
In this role, you will help:
- Define and communicate a clear product strategy for Elan commercial payments in partnership with CPS, PCS, Treasury Management, servicing, technology, risk, sales, and operations.
- Build and manage a practical roadmap for key priorities, including the Canadian portfolio rebrand, a new Mastercard One Card BIN, modernized bank rebate models, automated contracting, and digital ordering capabilities, and help modernize legacy business processes to drive compliance and revenue.
- Use portfolio data, reporting, and business insights to identify opportunities, inform priorities, measure outcomes, and strengthen the value Elan delivers to partners.
- Improve the partner and customer experience by reducing friction, strengthening brand consistency, streamlining credit preflight processes, and exploring future payment hub capabilities.
- Advance adoption of the Elan Commercial Portal by delivering value-added capabilities-including Salesforce pipeline reporting, ServiceNow application status visibility, and enhanced spend insights-to strengthen partner engagement, increase referral activity, and support commercial portfolio growth.
Product Managers at U.S. Bank are customer obsessed and play a critical role in defining product vision, planning, development, and execution in support of our human + digital product strategy. This Product Manager will focus on Elan commercial payments, helping shape the next phase of portfolio growth and modernization for our bank partners and their customers.
This role requires a strong product leader who can bring structure to complex work, connect strategy to execution, and collaborate effectively across CPS, PCS, Treasury Management, technology, servicing, risk, sales, and operations. The ideal candidate will be comfortable using data and business insights to guide decisions, while also bringing creativity and curiosity to identify new ways to improve partner economics, digital experiences, and customer outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:- Lead product strategy and roadmap development for Elan commercial payments, including priorities such as the Canadian portfolio rebrand, a new Mastercard One Card BIN, digital ordering capabilities, and the future go-to-market strategy for Elan.
- Partner closely across CPS, PCS, Treasury Management, technology, servicing, risk, sales, and operations to align priorities, clarify roles, remove barriers, and deliver a more connected partner and customer experience.
- Evaluate and modernize bank partnership rebate models to create more scalable, competitive, and partner-focused solutions.
- Strengthen portfolio reporting and business insights by reviewing data strategies, identifying gaps, and using analytics to inform product decisions and measure outcomes.
- Support digital enablement efforts, including automation of client contracting and development of on-demand ordering capabilities that simplify the partner and client experience.
- Drive creation of a new BIN for the Elan Mastercard One Card, coordinating the product, operational, servicing, risk, and go-to-market work needed to support launch readiness.
- Help define the future of an Elan payment hub, including how capabilities such as PaperTrl could expand Treasury Management payment options available through Elan.
- Complete the D&B project to support preflight review of Elan deals for unsecured credit, improving consistency, speed, and decision quality.
- Improve brand governance and customer-facing execution by identifying processes that may result in U.S. Bank branding being sent to Elan customers through cards, servicing contacts, or other touchpoints.
- Translate strategic priorities into clear product requirements, features, milestones, and delivery plans in partnership with agile, design, technology, risk, and business partners.
The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside of the location for the other days. The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $105,400.00 - $124,000.00
