Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering; P.Eng. is an asset
• 3 to 7 years of relevant work experience
• Familiarity with ASME B31.3 and TSSA rules is advantageous
• Experience in Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) is a plus
• Strong team collaboration and independent working skills
• Six Sigma certification preferred
• Fluent English with excellent communication capabilities
• Proficient in MS Office tools
• Skilled in project management and problem-solving
• Willingness to travel across Canada and the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Develop process engineering deliverables like PFDs and P&IDs
• Conduct process optimization studies with a focus on asphalt and thermal oil systems
• Engage with plant engineers for specifications and engineering reports
• Collaborate in capital investment project development
• Create and execute functional test plans for automated systems
• Participate in Process Hazard Analyses (PHA) for safety compliance
