U.S. Bank's Corporate Payments and Treasury Solutions division is an industry-leading provider of commercial payments solutions in the United States. We are looking for a top-performing Credit Portfolio Manager to join our corporate payments team. This role will partner with their counterparts in other business units to jointly expand customer relationships and grow bank revenue while minimizing risk.

Position Highlights

  • Managing a portfolio of commercial credit customers in our Corporate Payments and Treasury Solutions business line to maintain strong credit quality and minimize losses
  • Reviewing client needs and making recommendations on credit line amounts and terms
  • Approving credit displays prepared by other lending units
  • Collaborating with other U.S. Bank commercial lending teams on credit approvals, credit line management, and risk management activities
  • Evaluating customer monitoring reports and making recommendations on action plans based on risk
  • Participating on calls with other lending divisions and customers to obtain information and communicate credit decisions


Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (preferably in Finance or Accounting), or equivalent work experience
  • Five to seven years of commercial banking or relevant experience


Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Commercial credit or other relevant experience
  • Strong knowledge of commercial financial statement spreading and credit underwriting
  • Effective time management skills and ability to apply business line policies and procedures
  • Ability to work effectively across the company to manage shared customer relationships
  • Well-developed written communication and verbal presentation skills


Hybrid/flexible schedule

The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.
