The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly analytical, proactive Corporate Development Associate to join a small, highimpact team working across mergers and acquisitions, strategic initiatives, and executive priorities. The Associate will support M&A from opportunity screening through post-close integration; build financial models and strategic analyses; prepare board, investor, and fundraising materials; and help drive crossfunctional business projects.
This position offers uniquely broad exposure to senior leadership, including the CEO and COO, and the opportunity to earn meaningful responsibility early. Sitting at the intersection of M&A, finance, strategy, and operations, you will work directly with decision-makers on high-priority initiatives across the business.

What You'll Do:

The role is deliberately broad and priorities shift with the company's needs. Core areas of ownership include:

Mergers & Acquisitions
• Support the full M&A transaction lifecycle, including screening inbound opportunities, researching markets and targets, and building underwriting, valuation, and returns analyses
• Drive diligence and transaction execution by analyzing data room materials, identifying discrepancies and risks, coordinating closing workstreams, and supporting post-close integration

Financial Modeling & Analysis
• Build and maintain operating models, three-statement forecasts, and cash flow analyses to support M&A, capital allocation, and strategic decisions
• Translate model outputs and other analyses into clear conclusions and recommendations for senior leadership

Board, Investor & Fundraising Materials
• Prepare and update board, investor, and fundraising materials, delivering accurate, clear, decisionuseful outputs on short timelines

Strategic Initiatives & Commercial Projects
• Help structure ambiguous, cross-functional business problems into workplans, decision materials, and implementation support
• Build business cases for commercial initiatives and track performance against them

What We're Looking For:
• 1-3 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate development, or a similarly analytical role with transaction experience
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
• Strong written communication and the ability to summarize complex issues clearly for executive audiences
• High attention to detail; comfort working with ambiguous, imperfect, or unfamiliar data sets; and a proactive, intellectually curious, low-ego approach
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment and flexing working hours during transactions or other time-sensitive initiatives
• Familiarity with e-commerce, consumer products, or the Amazon marketplace is helpful but not required

This Role Is for Someone Who Wants to:
• Take on significant breadth, ownership, and operating exposure
• Work closely with C-suite leaders, earn meaningful responsibility early, and develop leadership capabilities over time
• Build a versatile corporate development and operating skill set inside a next-generation consumer brand accelerator

Details

The role is based in Miami and is full-time and in-person. It reports into Corporate Development within the Office of the CEO and will work closely with the CEO, COO, and other senior leaders. Compensation details will be shared during the process. To apply, please submit a resume and a brief note on why this role fits what you are looking for.
