As Corporate Counsel you will help develop our corporate and securities legal strategy, ensuring our legal approach scales with the company's growth.
This is a full time role that can be held from one of our US hubs or remotely in the United States.
What you'll do at Figma:- Support the preparation, review, and filing of Figma's SEC reports and other corporate regulatory filings, including quarterly reports, the annual proxy statement, Section 16 filings, and beneficial ownership reports
- Support review of public-facing corporate communications, including earnings materials and investor presentations
- Assist with corporate governance matters, including preparing Board and Committee materials and maintaining and operationalizing public-company policies
- Provide support on equity matters, including 10b5-1 plans and Figma's trading policy
- Build and maintain processes using AI and other tools, such as playbooks, templates, metrics, self-serve tools, and automations, to help improve legal workflows and scale the legal function
- Partner with and provide practical legal advice to other critical stakeholders across accounting, equity, finance, people, and communications
- Provide legal support for transactional and general corporate matters, including financings, strategic transactions, and corporate initiatives as they arise
We'd love to hear from you if you have:- 4+ years of legal experience at a top tier law firm and in-house legal department; you should have a J.D. and be a current member in good standing of at least one U.S. state bar
- Deep knowledge of corporate and securities laws and SEC reporting requirements
- Excellent interpersonal skills and business judgment, with the ability to distill complex issues and communicate them clearly to stakeholders
- Proactive and adaptable, with the ability to prioritize across multiple projects and recalibrate advice in response to shifting priorities, legal developments, and risk tolerance
- You don't need to be an expert in everything, but you should have a strong self-awareness around what you know and what you don't know, and a sense of curiosity and desire to learn what you don't.

Pay Transparency DisclosureIf based in Figma's San Francisco or New York hub offices, this role has the annual base salary range stated below.
Job level and actual compensation will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process (including skills and prior relevant experience, potential impact, and scope of role), market demands, and specific work location. The listed range is a guideline, and the range for this role may be modified. For roles that are available to be filled remotely, the pay range is localized according to employee work location by a factor of between 80% and 100% of range. Annual Base Salary Range:
$153,000-$296,000 USD
