Full Job Description
Boston Dynamics is looking for an experienced Senior Corporate Counsel to assist with our Corporate, Securities, Governance, and Compliance functions. As part of a highly dynamic team, this individual will be responsible for working with the Company's General Counsel and Assistant General Counsel in creating and managing Board and Shareholder materials, managing legal books and records, assisting in equity and financing matters and ensuring compliance with securities laws.. This role will report to our Assistant General Counsel, and will be based in our Waltham, MA world headquarters.

Day to day activities may include:
  • Assist with the creation and distribution of Board and Shareholder Materials, including quarterly materials and annual statements.
  • Support financing matters and capital transactions, including managing due diligence processes and drafting related documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with U.S. federal and state securities laws and regulations, and assist in preparing and reviewing required disclosures.
  • Oversee compliance with Delaware corporate law.
  • Organize and maintain all domestic and international corporate records.
  • Support engagement with shareholders, including numerous parallel preparations and deliverables schedules.
  • Address questions and provide training related to corporate and securities matters.
  • Occasional commercial and negotiating opportunities.


Minimum Requirements:
  • Juris Doctor from an accredited U.S. school of law.
  • 5+ years of experience in corporate law.
  • Experience with incorporation / good standing / corporate compliance matters.
  • Solid understanding of securities laws and/or experience representing both privately and publicly traded corporations.
  • Strong writing and presentation-making skills.
  • Admission to practice law in the U.S.: If not currently admitted in MA, must be eligible for admission in Massachusetts.
  • Current member in good standing of a state bar.
  • Self-motivated and proactive.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Capacity to function as part of a team, especially in a highly dynamic environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and meet multiple deadlines.
  • Strong interest in robotics.
  • Strong desire to join a high-growth company.

We are interested in every qualified candidate who is eligible to work in the United States. However, we are not able to sponsor visas for this position.

The base pay range for this position is between $155,000.00 to $215,000.00 annually. Base pay will depend on multiple individualized factors, including, but not limited to, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This range represents a good-faith estimate of compensation at the time of posting. Boston Dynamics offers a generous Benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid time off, and an annual bonus structure. Additional details regarding these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer for employment.
