Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Business, HR, Indigenous Studies, Community Development, or related field preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in Indigenous relations, workforce development, HR, or project coordination; mining experience is a plus.
• Candidates can substitute education with 8-10+ years of relevant experience demonstrating progressive responsibility.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion; confidentiality is key.
• Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Power BI is an asset.
• Proven capability in building respectful relationships and navigating complex stakeholder environments.
• Excellent communication skills for conveying technical and data-driven information to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Promote and adhere to environmental, health, and safety standards as a safety leader.
• Support and implement agreements with Indigenous Governments on employment and business development.
• Enhance Indigenous workforce participation and capacity-building initiatives.
• Foster trust-based relationships with Indigenous partners and community organizations.
• Engage in community activities such as site tours and career fairs, including weekends.
• Manage reporting systems for tracking employment and procurement data.
• Analyze and present data in reports and presentations to support leadership decisions.
