Seeking a Controls Engineer with PLC programming, design and troubleshooting experience. This is a permanent position in the Rockford, MI area.
Overview: Also have permanent positions available in the Grand Rapids, Holland, Muskegon and Kalamazoo areas. All these permanent positions offer a variety of exciting projects in the controls automation industry for reputable and growing companies. Opportunities range from entry-level to Lead Controls and Engineering Manager roles. Most jobs require minimal travel.
Responsibilities:- Provide electrical solutions for automation equipment.
- Design and program PLC and HMI software to meet requirements.
- Program and troubleshoot automation machines.
- Assist with start-up and technical support.
- Project Engineer comprehensive electrical systems from start to finish.
- Commission new machinery and retrofit existing machinery.
Requirements:- Bachelor of Electrical Engineering (BSEE) degree or Associate's degree preferred, but not required with relevant experience.
- 2 plus years of programming PLCs and HMIs.
- Allen Bradley and Siemens experience preferred.
- Experience with programming and integrating servos, hydraulics, and pneumatics is a plus.
- AutoCAD, or SolidWorks Electrical experience also a plus.
- Able to work independently as well as within a team.
- Close attention to detail and accuracy.
- Able to travel up to 20%
- Must be a US Citizen or have a Green Card.
Compensation and Benefits for the Controls Engineer positions:- $80,000 - $125,000 depending on experience.
