Job Function: - Oversee all aspects of accounting operations, including general ledger accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing.
- Oversee employees accounting operations.
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, including balance sheet reconciliation and account analysis to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Lead the preparation of detailed financial reports, including financial statements, budget forecasts, and regulatory filings.
- Conduct thorough cash management activities, including cash flow forecasting and bank account reconciliations using software such as QuickBooks
- Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
- Work directly with outside accounting firm for maintaining books
Job Requirements: Job Requirements: - Proven experience in a senior accounting or finance role with a focus on financial management within nonprofit, governmental, or public accounting environments.
- Demonstrated expertise in financial report writing, account reconciliation, balance sheet management, and cash flow analysis.
- Hands-on experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Point of Rental
- Ability to perform detailed account analysis while maintaining high accuracy under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills for preparing clear financial reports and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
