ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Prepares monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Develops, implements, and monitors annual budgets and financial forecasts.
- Establishes internal controls to prevent fraud and ensures compliance with healthcare regulations and reporting requirements.
- Monitors fixed assets, depreciation schedules, and cash flow to maximize financial efficiency.
- Responsible for supervision of billing and collections staff.
- Prepares cost reports for all facilities.
- Reports to work in a timely manner and adheres to policies, procedures, and processes.
- Performs other job duties as needed and/or as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS: - Requires a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
- Three or more years of prior healthcare accounting experience is preferred.
- Must be able to effectively communicate in English via verbal and written means.
LICENSE AND CERTIFICATIONS:
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is preferred.
