Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
• 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing or cost accounting
• Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems
• Experience in a publicly traded company
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Solid understanding of cost accounting principles
• Experience in preparing and presenting financial reports
• Ability to delegate effectively
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
• Experience in maintaining documented accounting processes
• Proven relationship-building skills within and outside the organization
• Strong problem-solving abilities with sound recommendations
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and Power BI; advanced Excel skills required

Responsibilities

• Lead the full cycle accounting process and manage daily transactions under established controls
• Prepare monthly financial statements and related management reports
• Forecast monthly cash flow and prepare results updates
• Collaborate across departments to prepare operating forecasts
• Analyze product changes to assess cost impacts
• Prepare and manage the annual budget
• Conduct variance analysis compared to budget and prior periods
• Analyze gross margin by various metrics
• Ensure compliance with tax obligations and assist with income tax support
• Review business processes and implement improvements
• Manage working capital initiatives to optimize cash flow
• Coordinate with AGI team members and external auditors
• Track asset spend against budgets and manage lease accounting
