Full Job Description
Nightwing Contracts is seeking a Contracts Specialist to support the High Consequence Missions (HCM) Business within Nightwing Intelligence Solutions, LLC (NW). This individual must be a detail-oriented and motivated individual to support the administration of federal government contracts throughout the contract lifecycle. The successful candidate will work closely with Contracts Managers, Program Managers, Finance, and Business Development to ensure compliance with contractual requirements, company policies, and applicable federal regulations.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Assist in the administration of federal government contracts, subcontracts, and modifications.
  • Maintain contract files and ensure documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Review contract terms and conditions for compliance with company policies.
  • Track contract deliverables, funding, option periods, and key contractual milestones.
  • Support proposal and contract closeout activities.
  • Coordinate contract actions with Program Management, Finance, Legal, and Procurement.
  • Assist in preparing correspondence, modifications, and other contractual documentation.
  • Monitor compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), and company procedures.
  • Maintain contract databases and reporting systems.
  • Support internal and external audits as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Legal Studies, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2-5 years of experience in contracts administration, government contracting, procurement, or a related business function.
  • Basic understanding of federal government contracting principles.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting U.S. Government contracts.
  • Familiarity with FAR and DFARS.
  • Experience using contract management systems (e.g., Deltek Costpoint, Deltek Cobra, Unanet, or similar).
  • Internship or coursework related to government contracting.
  • National Contract Management Association (NCMA) membership or coursework is a plus.
  • Active Secret Security Clearance required.

Salary & Benefits
The salary associated with this position ($64,000-$128,000) is commensurate with the selected candidate's qualifications, years of relevant experience, and demonstrated level of expertise. Compensation will be determined based on these factors to ensure alignment with skills, responsibilities, and market standards.
