In this role, you will: - Design, build, and maintain automated testing frameworks for Windows endpoints, macOS endpoints, VDI environments, and Microsoft 365 applications.
- Establish continuous testing practices that validate patches, feature updates, policy changes, security configuration updates, device provisioning changes, and application releases before broad deployment.
- Create reusable test suites for endpoint engineering scenarios including provisioning, compliance, remediation, configuration drift, application delivery, sign-in/access validation, and core user workflows.
- Use automation tools such as UiPath, PowerShell, and platform-specific scripting to orchestrate end-to-end validation across workplace technologies.
- Partner with Windows, Mac, Mobility, VDI, and Digital Workplace engineers to embed automated testing into release and change processes.
- Support pilot rings, phased deployments, rollback readiness, and release governance by providing reliable pre-release and post-change validation.
- Define test strategies, quality gates, test data approaches, and reporting standards that improve release consistency and operational confidence.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD workflows and engineering pipelines using Git-based practices and shared automation services where applicable.
- Improve platform reliability and user experience by identifying regression risks early and reducing manual validation effort across teams.
- Document test frameworks, validation standards, runbooks, and recommendations to enable broader adoption of automation-first quality practices.
Technical Requirements: - Strong experience building automated testing solutions for endpoint platforms, desktop applications, or enterprise user computing environments.
- Hands-on experience with test automation tools such as UiPath and scripting languages such as PowerShell; familiarity with additional automation tooling is a plus.
- Working knowledge of Windows endpoint engineering, macOS management, VDI platforms, and Microsoft 365 application behaviors in enterprise environments.
- Experience validating operating system changes, application deployments, policy/configuration updates, and user workflow scenarios across multiple device platforms.
- Understanding of test automation frameworks, regression testing, release validation, quality gates, and change governance practices.
- Familiarity with CI/CD concepts, source control, and Git-based workflows for promoting and maintaining automation assets.
- Experience with endpoint management and delivery technologies such as Microsoft Intune, SCCM, Jamf , Autopilot, VMware Horizon, Citrix, or similar enterprise platforms is strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of identity, access, and compliance validation patterns in workplace environments, including Microsoft Entra ID and related controls, is a plus.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to isolate issues across infrastructure, platform configuration, automation logic, and end-user workflows.
What it takes: - Undergraduate degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
- 3-5+ years of relevant experience in test automation, quality engineering, endpoint engineering, workplace platforms, or a related automation-focused role.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging capabilities across complex enterprise environments.
- Ability to translate platform risk areas into practical, scalable automated test coverage.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document standards, results, and recommendations clearly.
- Ability to work across engineering, operations, release governance, and project teams to improve delivery quality.
- Strong planning, organization, and execution discipline with an automation-first mindset.
