Responsibilities

What you'll be able to do:

Consulting Architect - Developer Tools - positions offered by Ford Motor Company (Dearborn, Michigan). Note, this is a hybrid position whereby the employee will work both from home and from the anticipated worksite. Hence, the employee must live within a reasonable commuting distance from the anticipated worksite. Provide Strategic Alignment of Software engineering tool product strategy with experiential products and overall business goals. Provide Product Roadmap Leadership and lead the creation and maintenance of the product roadmap, ensuring it aligns with the product strategy. Research and support the Voice of the Customer representing their needs and perspectives to the development teams. Deliver Product Decomposition and Planning by developing a break down and plan product functional components, coordinating with cross-functional teams to secure financials and establish delivery timelines. Ensure Dependency Management and Influence Vendor product roadmaps to ensure seamless integration. Support and role model Agile Collaboration and Requirements by partnering with business owners, strategy owners, and development managers in an Agile environment to define and document product requirements. Create and maintain a prioritized product backlog, driving cross-functional teams to deliver features efficiently while ensuring the development team understands priorities. Develop Support models and consulting with software development teams during development to clarify feature objectives and address questions or gaps. Manage and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new platform features, ensuring quality and user satisfaction. Provide Business Process Mapping across App, Web, and Vehicle interfaces to identify areas for optimization. Lead Stakeholder Management to plan, launch, and implement deliverables on time and according to specifications. Gather and analyze customer, team, and client feedback, translating it into new product features that align with the overall product vision and strategy. Domestic and International Travel Required up to 10%.

Qualifications

You'll have...

Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or related field and 5 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. 4 years of experience with each of the following skills is required: 1. Conducting User Acceptance Testing by utilizing testing methods and tools including Load Runner, or Meter or Quality Center to bring quality software to market with low post production incidents and bugs discovered. 2. Conducting Business Process Mapping including gathering information, analyzing and structuring information, and building diagram in Visio to articulate business. 2 years of experience with each of the following skills is required: 1. Gathering and translating business requirements, including actively engaging with stakeholders across various business units to understand their goals, challenges, processes, and desired outcomes. 2. Launching complex computer systems following compliance rules to plan large-scale systems that integrate with computer systems, or have a significant impact on business operations. 3. Programming and configuring software by writing, testing, or maintaining source code written in scripting language (JavaScript, Visual Basic, or Python); defining system parameters; setting up databases; configuring network settings; establishing user roles and permissions; integrating with other systems; and customizing workflows and user interfaces. 4. Migrating systems to new technology platforms including moving existing applications, data, and IT infrastructure from an older or current technological environment, including plant floor systems production environments, to a newer one.

We are offering a salary of $183,732.96 - $244,995.96/yr.
