  • Responsible for serving as the internal consultant and trusted advisor to our Global Sales field teams, providing them with analysis, strategic guidance and deal support to win a disproportionate share of business for our airline


What you'll do

  • Design and develop global corporate deals for American and its joint business partners that address highly complex customer travel needs
  • Conducts thorough deal consultations with Corporate Sales Managers to develop cohesive and creative selling strategies, grasping every detail of the offering and it's stratgic significance
  • Make and support critical decisions related to winning, defending, and optimizing our corporate business and selling strategy
  • Use customer segmentation, data analysis, and market insights to consult directly with American's Corporate Sales Managers
  • Forecast revenue and optimize deals through financial modeling
  • Provide analytical support for global clients and their business consultants
  • Liaise with American's business partners in the Americas, Europe, Asia Pacific and Oceania to align and enhance joint offerings
  • Manage and support multiple and challenging ad-hoc projects with internal and external business partners
  • Collaborate with different teams across our airline including Revenue Management, Sales Strategy, B2B marketing, Sales Operations and Sales Support
  • Travel when needed for business (up to 25%)

  • Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
    • Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent experience/training
    • 3 year experience in front-line sales, sales strategy, and/or quantitative modeling
  • Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
    • Advanced degree (MBA)
    • Project management experience working with multiple groups
  • Skills, Licenses & Certifications
    • High level of initiative, collaboration and creative problem solving
    • Ability to manage and negotiate challenging interactions with multiple business partners
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, Teams, etc.
    • Knowledge of Tableau, Microsoft Dynamics
    • Knowledge of Airline Sales, Revenue Management, Alliances, or Network Planning is beneficial
    • Project management and process improvement skills
    • Highly confident in saying yes or no to both internal and external customer requests
