What you'll be doing

The Consultant, Strategic Initiatives will be a part of the Compliance Strategy & Planning team reporting to the Director, Compliance Strategy & Planning. The Consultant, Strategic Initiatives is a team member responsible for supporting the Compliance & Global Regulatory Affairs (CGRA) team on their strategic priorities. The role will collaborate with members of the CGRA team to understand their business objectives and technology needs, support annual planning activities and the execution of strategic initiatives, and provide ongoing vendor management and governance. It's an asset if you have experience in strategic and business planning, project management and program delivery, procurement, vendor management, within compliance or related fields.

How you’ll succeed

  • Strategy - Support discovery and ideation sessions to develop the strategy roadmap for CGRA and its teams. Assist in the development and execution of a technology roadmap for CGRA including any relevant vendor strategies and technology platform evaluation.

  • Delivery - Assist in the execution of key projects and strategic initiatives to drive CGRA’s mandate, and support the process to oversee all ongoing CGRA initiatives.

  • Vendor Management - Support the development and implementation of vendor governance frameworks and procedures. Serve as a liaison for vendors and support ongoing vendor management including vendor selection and onboarding, performance monitoring, and contract management.

  • Planning - Support the annual fiscal planning process for CGRA and coordinate across teams within CGRA. Understand PMO and Procurement processes, templates (e.g., business case, CIRA, TPRA, etc.) and timelines to better support CGRA partners.

  • Communication - Ability to develop clear, concise decks for an executive audience with a focus on storytelling. Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate articulately and present to a senior audience.
