Position Description:

Contribute to the successful delivery of strategic initiatives at the heart of an innovation-driven organization!

CGI Montreal is looking for a Consultant in Business and Technology Governance. Reporting to the Director of Business and Technology Governance, you will be responsible for supporting the Business and Technology Governance (BTG) function in maintaining a strong governance and control environment across the organization. You will play a key role in ensuring that governance artifacts remain current, effective, and aligned with the organization's strategic transformation initiatives and associated target operating model changes. You will contribute to adapting governance frameworks, processes, and documentation to reflect evolving business processes, technologies, organizational structures, and regulatory requirements.

Your future duties and responsibilities:
• Maintain and update the corporate process maps (using Visio). Lead discussions with various stakeholders to understand and document processes.
• Maintain and update the company's internal control catalog and supporting governance documentation.
• Support the coordination of the periodic internal controls certification process.
• Coordinate the review, update, approval, and publication of corporate procedures within governance management tools and repositories.
• Support process improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiency.
• Assist in the preparation of presentations, meeting materials, risk assessments, and management reports.
• Contribute to assigned governance and compliance activities, such as supporting the benefits realization process for technology initiatives, assisting with the execution of the IT compliance program through SOC report reviews and risk assessment preparation, and other related activities.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Accounting, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field
• CPA (Chartered Professional Accountant) designation is required
• CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst), CFE (Certified Fraud Examiner), or CIA (Certified Internal Auditor) designation will be considered a significant asset
• Minimum 5 years of experience in governance, internal controls, risk management, compliance, business process management, or related disciplines
• Advanced proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
• Advanced proficiency in the use of AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, Anthropic Platform)
• Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills
• Excellent planning and coordination abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Demonstrated sound judgment, autonomy, and problem-solving capabilities with a continuous improvement mindset
• Strong business writing and documentation skills
• Experience in financial services, investment management, pension funds, or regulated industries will be considered an asset
• Knowledge of governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) frameworks will be considered an asset
• Strong communication skills in French (spoken and written) and functional English

CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is 70 000$ et 135 000$. This role is an existing vacancy.
