Qualifications:- Must have 3 years experience in heavy civil and/or industrial constructionwith in-depth knowledge of processes, materials, and equipment.
- Must have experience in large scale construction projects involving water infrastructure, industrial construction, complex earth moving, and/or large civil transportation projects
- Must be currently living in the Kansas City Metro Area.
- The ideal candidate has experience in a leadership role.
Job responsibilities include:- Oversee and manage day-to-day on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to project specifications, timelines, and budget
- Enforce safety and quality control procedures.
- Collaborate and build relationships with subcontractors, vendors, and project stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution
- Keep all parties updated on project progress and concerns
- Resolve any on-site issues promptly, making decisions that align with project objectives and company policies
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of project activities, including daily reports, progress photos, and any relevant documentation
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and other legal requirements
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify and resolve issues, manage quality control, and ensure work is progressing as planned
- Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports and change orders
- Manage the on-site company workforce to ensure proper training, compliance with company policies and procedures, and give ongoing performance feedback
Compensation: The starting compensation range is $90,000 to $130,000. Starting pay is commensurate with experience.
