About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead field execution for large-scale Insulated Metal Panel (IMP), siding, and roofing installations on mission-critical projects including data centers, advanced manufacturing, and industrial facilities.

This role is responsible for driving safe, high-quality, and highly productive installations in fast-paced environments where schedule certainty and execution consistency are critical.

This position will support multiple project startups and provide ongoing oversight across active projects, helping ensure consistency and strong execution across the division.

You will play a key role in scaling a rapidly growing division, helping to establish repeatable installation processes, strong field leadership, and best-in-class project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Field Execution & Leadership

- Lead day-to-day field operations across one or multiple projects

- Manage and direct foremen, crews, and subcontractors (50-150+ workers depending on project)

- Drive productivity, sequencing, and installation efficiency

- Ensure work is executed according to drawings, specifications, and quality standards

Schedule & Production Management

- Develop and manage short-interval schedules (look-ahead planning)

- Coordinate work sequencing with General Contractor and other trades

- Identify and proactively resolve schedule constraints

- Maintain progress to meet aggressive milestone-driven timelines

Safety & Quality

- Enforce safety protocols and maintain a strong safety culture on-site

- Ensure installation quality meets or exceeds project and manufacturer standards

- Conduct regular field audits and inspections

- Drive consistency across crews and projects

Coordination & Communication

- Act as primary field liaison with General Contractors, other trades, and internal project teams

- Participate in daily and weekly coordination meetings

- Communicate risks, issues, and progress clearly and proactively

Job Startups & Execution Planning

- Lead project startup activities including site logistics planning, crew structuring, and material staging

- Support multiple project startups and provide oversight across concurrent projects

- Partner with preconstruction and operations teams to ensure smooth project transitions

Problem Solving & Continuous Improvement

- Identify field issues early and implement solutions quickly

- Contribute to development of standardized installation practices

- Support training and mentoring of field personnel

- Provide feedback to improve future project execution

Qualifications

Required

- 7+ years of construction experience in industrial, commercial, or mission-critical environments

- Experience managing large field crews (50+ workers)

- Strong understanding of steel structures, building envelopes, or exterior systems

- Proven ability to manage fast-paced, schedule-driven projects

- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications

Preferred

- Experience with Insulated Metal Panels (IMP), metal siding, or roofing systems

- Experience on data centers, manufacturing, or large industrial builds

- Familiarity with Procore, Bluebeam, or similar tools

- Background in PEMB (Pre-Engineered Metal Buildings), steel erection, or façade systems
