Construction ManagerSyracuse, NYFull-timeJob DescriptionYour new roleAs our new Construction Manager, you will be part of our Project Management Group based out of Albany, NY
Your key responsibilities will be:- Assist in development of plans, schedules, and work alongside other superintendents, supervisors, administrators on project related activities.
- Actively works with the Senior Construction Manager in the management of the overall project construction scope, schedule, and budget.
- Responsible for leadership of the on-site project team management for smaller scale projects.
- Responsible for subcontractor contract management in coordination with the Senior Construction Manager.
- Assist Senior Construction Manager and Project Management teams with the change order process including proper notification, supporting data gathering/organization development for Project Manager review and processing.
- Participates actively in creating a safety culture in the office and at the jobsite.
- Serve as Project Site Safety Leader (in absence of full time EHS Supervisor).
- Estimates cost of materials, labor, and use of equipment required to successfully manage change during a project.
- Assists in planning the execution of the startup, commissioning, and closeout processes.
- Adheres to the policies and standards set forth in our quality management practices.
QualificationsQualificationsAssociate degree plus 2+ years relevant years of experience, or Bachelor's degree in an Engineering or CM discipline or 5+ years of relevant experience in a professional construction management role, with specific experience in procurement support and managing multi-discipline consstruction projects.
- Ability to read plans/drawings/specifications and interpret data.
- Construction sequencing and planning, construction scheduling/durations, safety planning, means and methods.
- Local Travel of 10%
- OSHA 30-hour Construction Safety Certification (preferred)
- OSHA 40-hour Hazwoper Certification (preferred)

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $80,000 to $100,000 per year. This range reflects the compensation we reasonably expect to offer at the time of posting.
