JOB DESCRIPTION

Construction Manager

A Construction Manager oversees construction projects from inception to completion. They manage all aspects of the project, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and coordinating resources. They collaborate with contractors, architects, and other stakeholders, ensuring the project meets quality standards, safety regulations, and client expectations. They are responsible for problem-solving, risk management, and ensuring timely project delivery within budget constraints. This role is located at the project jobsites.

 

Compensation & Benefits:

Estimated Starting Salary Range for Construction Manager: Pay commensurate with experience.

Construction Manager Responsibilities Include: 

  • Adheres to and utilizes standard engineering methods and techniques used on construction projects of limited size and complexity.
  • Performs technical review and advisory/assistance for design and construction projects.
  • Manages day to day construction execution at the project site.

  • Prepares requirements documents (i.e. statements of work, cost estimates, lists of project deliverables, etc.) for design and construction contract documents packages.
  • Oversees construction at the site to ensure inspection practices and procedures involved in the inspection of building materials, workmanship, utilities, and the installation of systems are followed.
  • Oversees construction at the site to ensure safety practices in the construction industry are followed.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

 

Construction Manager Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested: 

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in large scale construction projects as Project Superintendent or Construction Manager.
  • Must possess OSHA 30 or can receive certification after hiring.

  • Ability to read and interpret engineering, blueprints and architectural plans and specifications.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal and client.
