Job Summary:

As the Site Manager you will manage the organization and direction of project construction activities for advanced manufacturing projects. You will oversee total site management including craft professionals, professional staff, contract administration, cost and schedule, field supply chain, and finance and accounting. Your leadership will facilitate project operations that adhere to compliance standards, promote safety, meet deadlines, remain within scope and budget, and achieve client satisfaction. #LI-ME1

Major Responsibilities:

  • Manages the organization and direction of construction and related activities of a single construction project, including actions of Bechtel, subcontractors, suppliers, clients, and their representatives.
  • Oversees total site management including supervision of construction craft personnel, field engineering, contract administration, cost and schedule, field supply chain, finance and accounting services, and craft resource personnel as applicable
  • Coordinates all project contractual activities. and participates in the development of contract, subcontract, or vendor scopes of work, budgets, contract formation, and negotiations
  • Ensures development and execution of Project Automation Plan, Environmental Compliance Plan, safety plan, site survey plan, professional staffing plan, subcontracting plan, labor strategy, Construction Execution Plan, and job-site work rules.
  • Maintains client relationships and is the primary contact for client communication with the field activities and effective relations with other functional departments.
  • Directs the development and implementation of a training program to ensure subordinate personnel receive progressive training to enable them to assume additional responsibilities
  • Directs overall project safety programs and ensures strict adherence to local & national regulatory safety codes
  • Responsible for overall development of manual training and any testing as required.
  • Oversees jobsite expenditures for labor equipment, material and services and ensures field operations are within the budget.
  • Establishes project field procedures and objectives within corporate policies and procedures as necessitated by conditions at a jobsite


Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Requires bachelor's or master's degree (or international equivalent) and 13-15 years of relevant experience or 17-19 years of relevant work experience
  • Experience in semiconductor, EV battery, or data center industries preferred.
  • Hands-on knowledge of AWP and OSM strategies preferred.
  • Proficiency with digital execution tools preferred


Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • Proven leadership in large-scale EPC projects, managing staff, maintaining good client relationships and developing talent
  • Previous experience in a supervisory role such as Area Superintendent, Area Manager, Project Filed Superintendent, Project Field Engineer and/or Deputy Site Manager
  • Experienced in creating and maintaining teams that consistently achieve strong results.
  • Demonstrated skill in building and sustaining effective customer relationships
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
