Full Job Description
Responsibilities
Site Setup and Infrastructure
  • Establish and manage temporary facilities, field offices, utilities, fencing, parking, and access controls.
  • Coordinate site mobilization activities before construction begins.
  • Support construction teams with overall site readiness and operational requirements.
Construction Logistics Planning
  • Develop and maintain the site logistics plan.
  • Manage laydown yards, material staging areas, delivery routes, and traffic flow.
  • Coordinate crane locations, heavy-haul routes, and major equipment deliveries.
  • Plan logistics activities to minimize impact on active construction operations.
Material Management
  • Coordinate receipt, storage, protection, and movement of major equipment and construction materials.
  • Ensure laydown areas are organized and efficiently utilized.
  • Support OFCI material deliveries and staging requirements.
  • Track critical deliveries and coordinate with suppliers and contractors.
Site Access and Traffic Management
  • Manage site circulation plans and delivery schedules.
  • Coordinate contractor access requirements and delivery windows.
  • Ensure safe separation of vehicle, pedestrian, and equipment traffic.
  • Support security and badge access processes as required.
Cross-Functional Coordination
  • Interface daily with Construction Managers, Superintendents, Quality, Safety, Commissioning, ITIM, and contractors.
  • Coordinate activities between multiple projects sharing site infrastructure.
  • Resolve logistics conflicts before they affect schedule or productivity.
Schedule and Execution Support
  • Maintain project action-item lists.
  • Track logistics-related risks and constraints.
  • Support weekly construction reporting on scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Identify upcoming resource and site capacity requirements.
Safety and Operational Readiness
  • Ensure logistics operations support site safety objectives.
  • Coordinate safe movement of personnel, equipment, and materials.
  • Support emergency response planning and incident prevention.
  • Maintain housekeeping and site organization standards.
Multi-Project Campus Coordination

For large data center campuses, the Logistics Manager typically:
  • Coordinates shared haul roads and delivery routes.
  • Manages campus-wide laydown space allocation.
  • Coordinates crane utilization and heavy lift activities.
  • Prevents conflicts between adjacent project teams.
  • Supports campus logistics governance meetings.

Construction Project Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $116,900 - $203,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $148,400 - $222,600 per year.
