Position OverviewWeare seeking an experienced
Senior Estimatorto join our growing commercial construction team.This individual will lead the estimating process for a variety ofcommercial projects and play a critical role in delivering accurate,competitive, and profitable bids.
Theideal candidate must have strong commercial construction experienceand a deep understanding of cost analysis, CSI divisions, and multipledelivery methods including hard bid and GMP contracts.
Key Responsibilities - Leadthe full estimating process from conceptual budgeting through finalbid submission
- Preparedetailed quantity takeoffs and cost analyses across all CSI divisions
- Developand manage estimates for:
- Ground-up construction
- Renovations
- TenantImprovements (TI)
- Design/Build projects
- Solicit,evaluate, and level subcontractor bids
- PrepareGMP proposals and hard bid submissions
- Conductscope reviews and gap analysis
- Collaboratewith pre construction, project management, and operations teams
- Participatein value engineering efforts
- Reviewdrawings and specifications to identify risk, cost drivers, andscope gaps
- Presentestimates and bid strategies to executive leadership
RequirementsRequired Qualifications - 5+years of commercial construction estimating experience (5-10preferred for senior-level candidates)
- Provenexperience estimating ground-up, renovation, TI, and/or design-build projects
- Strongworking knowledge of CSI divisions
- Experiencewith GMP contracts and hard bid procurement
- Abilityto interpret plans, specifications, and addenda accurately
- Strongsubcontractor network and bid leveling experience
- Proficiencyin estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, Procore, Sage, Planswift,On-Screen Takeoff, etc.)
- Stronganalytical and organizational skills
- Excellentcommunication and leadership abilities
Preferred Qualifications - Bachelor'sdegree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
- Experienceleading or mentoring junior estimators
- Experiencewith conceptual budgeting and early design pricing
