Position Title: Construction Business Manager
A well-established South Florida restoration and construction company is seeking a Senior Construction Office Manager / Operations Manager to oversee its office operations, contract administration, financial workflows, and administrative team. This high-impact role will serve as the owner's right hand, managing everything from payroll approvals and vendor oversight to contract negotiations, staff accountability, and construction operations support. The ideal candidate is a confident, highly organized construction operations professional who can manage competing priorities, make sound decisions independently, and keep a fast-moving office accountable, accurate, and on track.
Construction Business ManagerResponsibilities: • Act as the right hand to the owner
• Oversee day-to-day office operations
• Ensure all departments operate efficiently
• Handle operational issues without requiring the owner's involvement
• Coordinate office functions and administration
• Review contracts and mark up contracts
• Identify contractual risks and issues
• Work with the owner on final contract revisions
• Coordinate with attorneys
• Coordinate with associations and property managers
• Manage contract negotiations from the initial review through final execution
• Review payroll for accuracy
• Approve payroll before submission
• Work with the accountant and outside payroll provider to complete payroll approvals
• Review vendor payments
• Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable activities
• Provide accounting oversight
• Ensure the accounting team's work is accurate
• Manage approximately five direct reports
• Hold employees accountable
• Ensure departments complete their work correctly
• Coordinate office workflows
• Oversee staff responsible for accounting
• Oversee estimating and bid administration
• Oversee the Proposal Coordinator
• Oversee the Insurance and Subcontractor Compliance Coordinator
• Coordinate with senior operations and oversight personnel
• Review projects
• Support construction operations
• Participate in construction-related meetings
• Work within Bluebeam and other construction management systems
• Attend Zoom meetings on behalf of the owner
• Participate in project coordination meetings
• Provide the owner with updates and recommendations
• Resolve office issues
• Manage vendor relationships
• Coordinate IT, internet, and service-related issues
• Ensure the office operates efficiently
Construction Business Manager Requirements: • Minimum of five years of construction office administration or management experience
• Construction industry experience
• Experience overseeing office staff
• Payroll review and approval experience
• Contract administration experience
• Operations management experience
• Experience supporting multiple departments
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently

Benefits: - Base salary of $120,000-$140,000 depending on experience
